The Kempsey Greyhound Racing Track is located in South Kempsey in NSW. Car parking is available inside the grounds. Camping facilities are available for travelling trainers and there are also kennelling facilities for greyhounds. Bookmakers are available at the venue on race days but no TAB facilities are available. Video replays are available to owners and trainers when required. The track offers bar and kiosk facilities for partrons snacks and refreshments. Racing Information Race meetings are held on Saturdays and Sundays. A veterinary service is on call during race meetings. The kennels are two-tiered and are not air conditioned. The club holds a recess of around 4 weeks from mid December to mid January. Nominations Nominations for race meetings close on 5.00pm on the Tuesday before race meetings at the club with the box draw being done at around 7.00pm. Kennelling Time Kennelling times for day races are from 12.15pm until 1.00pm for the first race at 1.30pm and for night races from 6.15pm until 7.00pm for the first race at 7.30pm. Trials Both solo and half field trials are offered over all distances on Tuesday evenings from 4.00pm during winter and from 6.00pm during daylight savings times and on Sunday morning from 8.00am until 9.00pm |
